Kankari Lodge is located on the outskirts of Karatu in the Ngorongoro Highlands, between Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Eight standard rooms in four double cottages and four luxury tents provide en-suite accommodation with queen or twin beds, private verandas, writing desks and dressing areas. Cottage rooms have fireplaces, while the tents have seating areas with a settee and coffee table. The main building contains a bar and restaurant overlooking the swimming pool. A large deck with two outdoor fireplaces provides space for relaxing and dining. Meals use locally sourced produce, with special diets catered for and safari lunchboxes available on request.
